ONEOKROCK! + updates

It's always been a long time since I post. Sometimes, I hate design school because it takes up so much time. Why is it that all the assignments are always so time consuming? ):<

Anyway, I went for OOR's concert at Hard Rock Coliseum last Friday. It was super fun!! I had lessons before that, so I went after lesson.

Was drawing this in class and continued drawing while I was in the queue xD

Cassandra and I while we're queuing. It's funny how the light is shining on me, and it gave the effect like I'm super white or something. Look like some angel and devil twist. The funniest part is, I'm the devil XD Cassandra's the angel cos she's super nice xD I do not deserve the light. LOL.

Our hands! Taped a black cross on out hands because Taka had it on his hand in the Clock Strikes pv. We wanted to raise our left hands and show OOR. This was a"project" by the OOR Singapore fan group. A lot of people actually put it on the wrong hand =_=

The shirt and the wristband that I bought. Super nice!!! Love LOVE this design. But also have to thank Ayumi and Pheng Siong for helping me buy cos they were in the queue.

The stage. It's so cool!! And it's quite ironic also, because the lights shone down as if the grim reaper is holy or something. Maybe it's just me but I notice ironies quite often. (Nothing better to do).

So we went into the concert area, and I was super ticked off, because they never did told us that food and drinks are prohibited, until we were inside. That's so irresponsible! No food, I understand, but no drinks? Even empty bottles were confiscated! What utter bullshit. Sweating, talking, even breathing causes humans to lose body water, yet they don't allow drinks. Stupid RWS. YES, I JUST SAID THAT.

Enjoying the concert and my friend fainted halfway through No Scared. Had to bring her to the paramedics. When I asked one of them to give my friend a bottle of water, she just looked at me like "I'm the medic, I know what to do. Don't tell me what I'm supposed to do." Okay, really? REALLY? They took her blood pressure and everything... trust me, all she needed was a bottle of freaking water. The guy sitting beside my friend had to go take a bottle for her. Well, wtf is the paramedics there for.

But we were accidentally lucky cos when we moved to the back, all the real fans were there. They didn't push or anything, and there was so much space! So much air! Even a fan! (No, like literally an electric fan). We sat down for the rest of the concert, but it was just 2 songs and 1 encore song so it wasn't that bad I guess. One of the songs was Re:make though.. My favourite song ):

The concert was fun, nonetheless! We were really accidentally smart cos we wanted to walk back to VivoCity, but walked towards Imbiah instead.. So we just hopped on the empty train and got to Vivo. Didn't even have to queue to get into the monorail.

Then we went to have dessert, and changed out of our stinky clothes XD

Our 'after live' look. Yes, I wore a skirt to the concert.

After I took out the tape. The moist of my sweat made my skin way lighter than the rest XD Kinda liked it there though... But oh well, I can go tanning and it'll come out. (LOL crazy fan)

When I got home, my mom told me "Hey, your parcel is here." I looked beside me and was like "oh... okay." But inside, I'm really like "HOMFG HOMFG IT'S HERE SATISFACTIONISHERE KMYBABYICANNOT" ... yeah and it went on for a while XD

I bought this the moment I watched the pv release during their radio show. My baby has so much screen time! And the sexiness. TELL ME HE'S NOT A SEXY BEAST. LOL.

Anyway, here's some updates from here and there.

Geradine brought me to this bar called Acid Bar and we had a really good time drinking and chatting. I was so pissed with my partner because of all the bullshit she's been giving me. Either that, or she never did her work at all. I was paired with her for 3 assignments, and she barely did anything for one. The rest of the two, I've been doing everything from research, to essay, to narrative, to drawing, to presentation. I swear, I burst a blood vessel. The beer was really what I needed.

This is the front and back of my sculpture for one of the assignments. It's been fun making it, just that the rasping and sanding part of the blue foam is horrible. Really hated that part because if you breathe in too much blue foam, it can cause lung cancer or something like that.

Oh, and this came in my mail! What I ordered from 06Bit at AFA. Really love this! Thanks to Cherilyn for her hard work. Otsukare!! It's super super cute! And it's quite small so it just adds to the cuteness (laugh).

I should end here now because I'm still in lesson. Pathetic waste of time coming to school today. Was actually okay, but suffering from post-concert syndrome now, cos I'm listening to OOR songs. AICREY.

AFA! Day 2 + Sunday

Bad morning today. Train packed as hell. Came into studio, only to find out that the studio is in a huge mess that the year threes left behind... in the year one students' studio. GOOD JOB. COME, I CLAP FOR YOU.

Anyway, I went for AFA! But only day 2, because I've been rushing assignments this whole week and hadn't finished. But I need to relax and this is the only day I can afford to. Or well, I planned it to be.

Actually planned to meet Mimi early cos I had to help her with her cosplay makeup, but I was late and we couldn't find each other because I have no idea where she was LOL. Well, we met up at the event area and used the toilet beside hall 404. She was cosplaying Sasha from Shingeki no Kyojin (is that spelled correctly?). It was super epic in the toilet. I had to do my makeup, and do hers. But we managed to, somehow.

We kind of forgot the lower lashes cos I was rushing off. I thought she'd put mascara on her lower lashes but she didn't (laugh). Kinda look like she had blusher in this photo, but she didn't.

After that, I had to leave cos Ayumi was waiting for me. Then we went into the exhibition hall and walked around after we had lunch. Had to go find Chiyori at the Hello!Japan booth to get some stuff from her, and happened to step in when ViV was having a talk. Kind of like an introduction of the band? Then, they taught us how to furi to their song, and we had to furi as the song played on the speakers. One part was like... headbang, and oritatami. I was just there like "nope, nope, nope. not gonna headbang. not gonna mess up my hair." So I just stood there and did the furikoza for headbanging and oritatami. (They have hand actions that mean the same as headbanging and oritatami, for people who don't want to headbang/not such a big fan).

And this is what Chiyori gave me:

UNF. So much LOVE! For them, and from her! Even though it's nothing much to most people, this means a lot to me, considering how overly obsessed I am with them. Besides, it's the little things in life that counts.

Then we went to the mini stage to catch the Asia Kawaii Special Feature. The dance team (didn't catch the name) was damn awesome! I only know one of them is Miume ._. But they're damn cute! And the dance was really... unique. Never really saw people combine dance moves like that before. And I should know because I'm a huge fan of watching dances, even though I can't dance LOL.

Then we walked around, bought some stuff, and bumped into Kenneth. He called me not long after, saying he lost his friends so he's going to join me (laugh). We walked around a bit more, and left afterwards. It was fun, even though I didn't buy much...

And the book and pokemon figurine is for Cassandra cos she asked me to help her buy (laugh). The little bottle is a body mist, and it smells REALLY NICE! Heard it's really popular in Japan and they were selling it at $20 in AFA. Don't know how much it is in Japan, but I'm not there anyway so I just bought it. Just gonna use it as perfume lol. Have been thinking of buying one for quite some time already since I've been using my sister's or my dad's. Special price, so I bought it.

Spent the whole day sleeping after I came back, and spent my Sunday doing work. Half the day went to making the chair, then went to Sunshine Plaza for printing. I suddenly remembered that I have work to print and I haven't done it, so I just did it on the bus, but missed by stop.

Blessing in disguise, the bus stops right in front of the printing shop and I didn't know. Thank god I missed that stop! Finished up my work in the printing shop while waiting for them (queue was damn long!!), and printed out my stuff.

An hour later, I finally finished my work and someone tapped me on my shoulder. Guess who? MIMI! I was damn shocked, but it was more of like a pleasant surprise. She was there to print stuff too (duh) and we had our stuff printed together, and left.

Was super tired when I reached home but I had no choice but to finish making the scale model, because submission is today. When I finally finished, the results:

I can't believe I spent 6 hours on each of the chairs. The one on the right was okay because I watched 3 Star Trek movies while making it. Oh, lord, save me. If it wasn't for Star Trek, I'm not sure how I'd survive it.

Back to lesson. Sayou~

Hit on by a girl?!

I'm back for a short post. So apparently, I got hit on by a girl a few days ago, without even noticing. The weirdest damn experience of my life.

I was at starbucks with Nimi (our usual place to hang when we're not in school) doing work and stuff. I went to buy a drink so the barista was at the cashier, right? So I ordered. She was like "Sorry?" And I like kind of laughed a little cos awkward little me does not know how to react when the situation gets awkward. She leaned forward, beside the computer screen thing, and I ordered again. When she stood straight again, she said "I can't hear you. Why so shy?" And get this, she grinned. My good lord, I was so damn awkward I laughed again.

At this point of time, I still didn't notice, but when I told Nimi about it (I thought it was quite funny and it's quite hard to find friendly baristas, even though I've met a few really friendly ones before), I realized it was weird as hell.

See, the weird part is that I'm always the one who hit on girls; not the other way round (laugh). I meant
"hitting on" girls. Jokingly hit on my friends. Part of the drama in me. Anyhow, it was super odd being on the other end.

And after the barista walked over to clear my table, she walked off to clear another customer's table. I caught her looking at my direction, through the glass door. By this time I was freaking out, right? But I didn't say anything cos it was probably just my own imagination.

Went to meet Nimi at starbucks again yesterday to do work (yes, we have that much work), and I got this!!

Second time I had something written on my starbucks cup lol. I think cos it's Christmas so they started taking names? Santa wants to know who's been good (and bought starbucks) xD

Anyway, I managed to get my super cute heart arrow industrial barbell through and...

So pretty!!! So don't regret buying this, or going through the trouble and pain to pierce it.

After work, we walked around for about an hour-ish? I found this booth selling Japanese accessories and stuff. Super cute!! Didn't plan to buy anything but heck, these were so cute!

Not really things that I'd wear but I guess it's time for a change. I have no accessories to go with the cute clothes I bought at Dip Drops/Lowry's anyway.

The booth was tended by these 2 Japanese guys, super funny. They saw my laptop casing and thought that the sticker of the girl on my laptop was me. Well, it does kinda look like me but it's not (laugh). Super nice people. They have a store in Far East Plaza, level 4. Here's their facebook page. Super cute stuff, and super nice staff. Nothing can beat that xD

I'll end here now. Too many assignments to rush.
