Updates + Good News

Haven't been blogging for a long, long time!! Have been super busy with work and hasn't been able to get enough sleep. Yesterday was (finally) the last day of work and I'm so proud of myself. I actually survived this hell-like month, working my ass off. But I'm glad I got to meet people like Malvin and Renny. They're damn epic.

Oh, but something happened during work about 2 weeks ago. Renny was putting stuff in the storeroom, but slipped and fell... he grabbed the shelve (metal) but the flesh tore. Thank god Malvin went and held him, else his hand would've been gone case. I saw them running out of the storeroom with blood dripping on the floor. Scared the shit out of me. He even fainted due to loss of blood.

We called the ambulance and stuff, and I went to the hospital with him. Female instincts told me I should go, instead of Malvin. We were sent to SGH and the DUMBEST thing was, we had to wait for 3 hours to get him a tetanus jab.

HELLO. If the metal really rusted, he'd have gotten tetanus in that 3 hours, while waiting to get the god damned jab. What the actual.

Yeah so Debbie replaced him since he couldn't work. Well, who could have when they have 10 stitches and cut as long as 7cm, from the tip of the finger to the webbing? I didn't even remotely DARE to look at his hand.

But the last two weeks of work after that was fun too. Debbie, Malvin and I are like crazy people (laugh). Renny calls Debbie and Malvin the 'Pikachu couple' XDD

So here's the good news. On the last second day of work, while I was waiting for Debbie at the mrt station, my mom called me and told me that there's an sms sent to my old phone from SP. They asked me to go for the interview for my course transfer. I freaked!

I've worked so hard the first semester, and I'm finally granted at least a small chance of getting into the course that I've wanted to go since the beginning. But I also had another problem - I had to rush my portfolio, again!

I happened to draw a cat and a wolf during the holidays, and decided to use it. On the last day of work, I drew a stag and refined the wolf drawing. Then when I went home, refined the stag drawing and drew a cartoon-ish Eiffel Tower.

And today, went to take photos for my portfolio, but didn't manage to use any of it (sigh). Didn't take much either, so I just used some old photos. Finally finished my stuff in this crazy 3-day rush. Hope tomorrow turns out well and I get into the course!

Another new update, I took out my second helix piercing and allowed it to heal. It closed and fully healed by the time I woke up the next morning. The piercing totally rejected! D: It has been hurting a lot and hasn't been healing well. One week later, the hole not only has been completely closed for more than 5 days, the swelling had gone down by 80%!

I'm baffled, though. It was pierced with a needle so it shouldn't reject. I have no idea what happened but I want to get it pierced again. Sigh. Oh well, I'll see how it goes then decide again.

Going to meet Chris again tomorrow after such a long time. Can't wait to meet her XDD But, the interview first. ORZ Guess I'll go rest now. Sayou~

Updates on Work

It's been quite some time since I last blogged. My job has been so time consuming that I haven't had much time to go online. Also, there's nothing much to blog about because it's really boring at my work place - just helping the kids with the demonstration of the nerf blasters and stuff. It doesn't sound like much, but it's really tiring.

Debbie got posted to my work place and I've been working with her the past 2 days. It's been fun but she kind of took Renny's place because he got into an accident at work and cut his palm really badly. Heard he got 10 stitches ): Sounds so painful! I felt so useless when I saw the blood just dripping from his hands. Went to the hospital with him and stayed all the way until he got his stitches done.

We went to SGH and had to wait 3 freaking hours just for the tetanus (?) jab. I'm not sure of the spelling though. It's to make sure you don't get infected by rusted metal. But 3 hours!! If the metal was really rusty, the jab would be redundant after 3 hours, come on. WTF SGH???

Other than that, there's nothing huge that happened at work. Other than me getting into a quarrel with some china parents because their kid was being a rude-ass bitch to me, nothing much. I won't go into detail for that matter because it boils my blood just thinking about it. Maybe I'll blog about it next time. Bloody stupid parents. If you don't want to discipline your kid then don't have them.

Oh, and I've gotten cough lately. It's really quite bad. For some reason, my body doesn't recover fast from cough. Sad face!

Time to sleep now. Sayou~

Arubaito Day 2 + 3

So yesterday, something quite interesting happened. There were 3 male office workers who came to buy nerf blasters and I was demonstrating to them how one of it works.

One of them commented, "WAH! You sure you never serve NS before?!"

I couldn't help but LOL. And they were super amused by the nerf blasters, which was quite funny to me. They even said they wanted to buy it back to the office and shoot people who they don't like. Or when they're in a meeting but they want to go home, they'll just take the gun and point it at the boss, saying "knn! I want to go home already! Fuck you and this meeting!" HAHAHA I really didn't know how to react except laugh like an idiot.

One of them bought the Strongarm and was telling me, "Thanks, man! You're the best hasbro promoter ever!"

Again, I couldn't help but laugh like crazy. They are, by far, the most amusing group of customers I've met.

Today, Renny couldn't come to work cos he's sick. Damn. ): But somehow I survived. There was this little girl who accidentally hurt herself when she was using the gun and she was crying. I swear, I am damn scared when kids cry if it's my fault. Well, technically my fault cos I failed to take care of her and it's my responsibility. Then she hurt her eye when she went to the toilet and came back to me, crying. I don't know how, I don't want to know either. Somehow, I just got her to calm down and helped her.

And there was this other girl who accidentally shot herself in the face, before I could even get her to hold the gun properly. This wasn't my fault because she refused to listen to me. She brought this upon herself, yes, I'm mean.

If only Renny was there to help me take care of the kids. God damn, he won't be there tomorrow either. He's only coming back on Saturday. God, please give me the strength to live through tomorrow tyvm.

Part Time Day 1

I just came back from my part time job. Second job of my life, and I thought it'd be easy since I'll just be promoting toys. I don't know, man. I've never been so WRONG in my life!

I am promoting Nerf blasters now and I thought it was quite fun - demonstrating Nerf blasters and all. It is fun! Especially for me, because I love shooting games, and I'm like a guy so.. explains a lot. However, I met this little girl. OH MY GOD, I swear, she's a little monster. She's so selfish and demanding, like a spoilt brat! I'm not even joking. I'm so pissed!

She doesn't want to share with others, even though she already has more than what she needs. I even tried to fierce her, but I wasn't very. I mean, first day of work, I don't exactly know the stuff there. And, I'm not good with dealing with kids at all, because I hate kids.

Thank god Renny was there to save my life. I don't know how many times he saved me today.. from that little monster, and he was the one who helped me with the stuff when I first stepped in... AND! When this uncle was talking to me about all sorts of crap (non-stop), the Nerf manager told Renny and he came to help me. Oh, Renny, what would I do without you.

We also went for lunch together and I found out that he's an anime fan (like me), and he likes Japanese art. He also has tattoo on his calf and chest. Woah, much! He knows about GazettE too! Somebody needs to give this guy a trophy (laugh). I can't believe this!

It also turns out that his friend was in SP, in my course. Technically, he's my senior. Singapore is too small! But they're both really nice guys, so I'm glad I met them both.

Anyway, today was boring except for that two events that happened today. Let's just look forward to tomorrow and see what else is in store for me. Hopefully, not little monsters.
